THE VILLA

The view from Tamarind House commands the full panorama of the magnificent Falmouth harbor on Antigua’s SE coast where during the season, November to April can be seen a gathering of the worlds most extraordinary super yachts, who base themselves in this wide natural harbour for the annual charter season.

Cooled by the steady Atlantic trade winds blowing in from the ocean visible beyond the harbour, the house is set back and up in the centre of the bay, enjoying peace and privacy with only a short walk to local services and the infamous Nelson’s Dockyard. The house is of the ‘open’ style developed to allow the breezes to travel through the rooms, but can be shuttered off when desired.

The décor in pastel shades gives a sense of coolness and simplicity in contrast to the strong tropical light outside.Tamarind House with its modern interior, fully refurbished for 2013, matchless views and ideal location is the premier rental home in the Falmouth Harbour area and guarantees an unforgettable stay in Antigua whether for business or pleasure.

The surrounding area has many attractions such as Shirley’s Heights, Fort Berkeley, Nelson’s Dockyard and an array of restaurants and bars. English and Falmouth Harbour are renown for their involvement in the yachting industry and during season (Nov-May), this area of the Island is thriving, providing many opportunities for those seeking to join the ‘yachting world’.
